An empty dental treatment room with a pale chair, wood floor and daylight from a tall window.

A sample practice built by Renown Sites. Cascade Arch Dental is fictional.

A tooth, rebuilt in stages you can see.

Dental implants, full-arch restorations and cosmetic dentistry in Bellevue. Every stage is drawn, priced and agreed before you sit in the chair.

One tooth, several, or a whole arch. Each has a plan.

An implant is a titanium post that takes the place of a root. What goes on top of it depends on how many teeth are missing, and that is the first thing a consult settles.

You do not have to decide anything today. You only have to understand it.

How an implant goes in.

The gap. Where a tooth is lost the bone beneath it has nothing to hold. The drawing starts there: gum, bone, and the outline of the tooth that is missing.

Placement. A titanium post goes into the bone where the root was, under local anaesthetic. It is a short visit. The post sits below the gum while it heals.

Healing. Bone grows against the threads over the following months. How long is decided by your bone at review visits, not by a brochure.

The connector. A small abutment attaches to the post and comes up through the gum. This is what the crown will sit on.

The crown. A crown is made to the shade and shape of its neighbours and seated on the connector. You leave with a tooth, and a care plan for it.

Reversible here. In writing in the room. Scroll back and it comes apart again. In the consult you get the same sequence on paper, with the number and the dates.

Cosmetic work, described without a before and after.

Four things people ask for by name. Each one is explained the same way: what it is, who tends to ask, and what actually happens at the consult. No photographs of other people's teeth.

Veneers

What it is
Thin porcelain facings bonded to the front of a tooth.
Who asks
People with chips, worn edges, gaps, or one tooth that never matched.
At the consult
We check what the tooth can give up and hold the shade guide against it in daylight.
A dental shade guide fanned out, each tab a slightly different tooth colour.

Whitening

What it is
A supervised bleaching gel, in the chair or in custom trays at home.
Who asks
Anyone whose teeth are sound but darker than they would like.
At the consult
We photograph the starting shade against the guide, so the change is measured rather than remembered.
A hand holding a clear removable aligner tray up against a white wall.

Clear aligners

What it is
A series of clear removable trays that move teeth in small steps.
Who asks
Adults with crowding or spacing who would rather not wear brackets.
At the consult
A scan, a frank conversation about what trays can and cannot move, and a written estimate of how many.

Bonding

What it is
Tooth-coloured composite shaped by hand onto the tooth, in one visit.
Who asks
A small chip, a short tooth, a gap that bothers you more than anyone else.
At the consult
We show you the shade match on the tooth before anything is bonded.

What moves the number.

Implant work is priced per plan, not per visit. These are the things that change it, in the order we usually find them.

  1. How many implants. One tooth is one post. A bridge or an arch uses fewer posts than teeth, which is why the per-tooth cost falls as the plan grows.
  2. Whether the bone needs building first. Thin bone sometimes needs a graft before a post can go in. It adds a stage and a number, and the scan shows it before anyone commits.
  3. How you want to feel during placement. Local anaesthetic is included. Sedation is a choice with its own line.
  4. What the tooth is made of. Crown and arch materials differ in cost and in how they wear. We lay the options on the bench.
  5. Teeth while you heal. A temporary tooth or arch during healing is optional for some plans and part of the design for others.

Example starting pricesfor this sample

from $3,900
Implant bridge, three teeth

Example pricing for this sample, not a real practice's prices. On a live site the practice's own starting prices go here, and the written plan from your consult is the only number that counts.

Five visits, in order.

  1. Consult
  2. Plan
  3. Placement
  4. Healing reviews
  5. Restoration

Photographs, a scan if implants are in play, and the question you came with. You leave with the sequence drawn and a range for the number.

The written plan: which teeth, which design, the number, the dates. Nothing is booked until you have read it and said yes.

The post goes in. Local anaesthetic, or sedation if you chose it in the plan. If you chose sedation, someone drives you home.

Short visits to look at the gum and the bone. The plan's dates move if your healing says they should, and we tell you why.

The connector and the crown, bridge or arch are fitted, checked against the neighbours, and adjusted until the bite feels like yours.
